Weaving Classes ¦  Fiber Talks ¦  Felting Workshops

Weaving Classes

I have been asked about teaching weaving classes. These happen when I have enough students (2 or 3) to have a class. They include 3 meeting times, the first class is 5 hours long and the 2nd & 3rd are 3 hours long. The class can be here at our farm or at a location nearer to those in the class.
Cost is $150 per person and includes the yarn for the 2 samplers that we will make and the rental of the loom for the duration of the class. (Travel expense will be added and shared if not at our farm.)
If you would like to learn to weave please let me know and we can find a time that would work for you and another student to make a class.

Want to learn how to Locker Hook? Sandy Corbin of Lighthouse Alpacas in Olympia, WA gives wonderful one day classes. Check out her web site and ask her about class dates that are coming up.

Fiber Talks

Fiber talks, discussions, and skirting demonstrations are available for your group at your location. Topics include getting the most from your fiber, how to prepare it for processing, how to check for common problems and what causes them, etc. Contact us for more information or to arrange a talk.

Felting Workshops

Our newest offering is Felting Workshops. In the workshop participants will make a bear, bird, or alpaca using wet felt and needle felt methods. The project will be completed before we all go home, so you will have something to brag about. See the Home page for upcoming workshops that will be held at host farms, as well as my own.
If you would like to host a workshop, let's set a date.
